Rise Up Buffalo is a journal for the activism community of Buffalo, NY and beyond. Keeping people up to date on issues that affect everyone and events that are upcoming. Rise Up Buffalo hopes to be the #1 source for citizen action and information about movements in Buffalo/WNY.

Since there is an inherent sociological element built into the concept of Rise Up Buffalo, we will also feature sections that deal with research of non-profits. Critical analysis and institutional ethnography will be used to better understand the social problems that exist in Buffalo, the movements that are built up around these problems and the solutions that come from non-profit work and community organizing.
